NASI

(Pronounced Na-Sah)

My name is Nasi.
It sounds simple, but don’t let that fool you — my name is loaded.
It’s not just a sound.
It’s a sentence.
It’s a promise.
It’s a future that God whispered long before I learned to walk.

“Nasi” means prince… leader… one who is lifted.
Yes — all of that in one tiny name.

When my mom calls,
“Nasi, come here!”
Heaven hears,
“Future leader, step forward.”

When my dad says,
“Nasi, bring that to me.”
God hears,
“He will carry responsibility well.”

Even when my auntie  says,
“Naaaa-saaaah, stop touching things!”
She doesn’t know she’s really shouting,
“Prince, act royal!”

Every time someone says my name, something inside me rises —
like a tiny spark of greatness waking up.

I may still be small…
I may still wobble when I walk…
I may still forget where I put my favorite cup…
But God has already placed destiny inside my name.

Before I could say “Mama,”
before I could reach for my toys,
before anyone knew what I liked or didn’t like…

God knew my ending.

My Glam-Mom calls it
“My expected end.”

She tells me,
“Nasi, every time someone speaks your name, they speak your future.
They call out who God says you are.”

So when I introduce myself, I’m not just telling you what to call me.
I’m telling you what God called me first.

I am Nasi.
Na-Sah.
And I will become everything God spoke over my life.
