The Martins joined late. Not because they didn’t believe in the movement, but because last year their toddler mistook a glue stick for lip balm.
They started strong – matching binders, stylish schedules, and a whiteboard that took up half the dining room wall. The first day felt like a TED talk. The next day felt like Sudoku.
By Friday, someone had spelled “Send Help” in magnetic letters on the refrigerator.
They almost quit. Almost.
But then their daughter, who had always struggled with reading, paused mid-sentence and said, “Wait – I get it now.”
Mrs. Martin didn’t cry (not visibly), but she did speak the verse taped to the refrigerator: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
They were grateful they received the strength to stay. The breakthrough was real.
