It was a late Saturday afternoon. The day carried the kind of warmth that made your knees sweat and your attitude melt. Blapoh slipped through the door, ready to get things done.
One foot down, the other followed. Then … woosh!
Her foot slid unexpectedly. It was a full-blown, not-so-dainty trip. Her arms flew out for balance.
Then the miracle happened: before she could hit the bottom stair backwards, she felt a pull. It was not gravity—it was divine. It was gentle, yet firm. Blapoh did not land; she was lifted. Those invisible hands broke her fall in midair, as if they were saying, “Never!”
She was not stunned. She knew what had happened. Psalm 91:11-12 came to pass.
