Proverbs 4:9 (NLT) She will place a lovely wreath on your head; she will present you with a beautiful crown.
From Lapadowis Teahouse, steam curled from hot drinks, while low, murmuring conversations brought life to the cafe. The tall windows allowed sunlight to spill in, catching the gleam of the well-polished Brazilian cherrywood floor and ivory-glazed tea set. The air was a blend of lemongrass, mint, rooibos, hibiscus, pomegranate, lavender, chamomile, apple cinnamon, spiced orange, soursop, and dandelion. Forming the base of the fragrance were rice bread, puff puff, shortbread, sweet bread, and coconut tarts, chef-crafted to order.
Salome eased into the chair at a corner table with the best view of the city below. She reached for her Bible and began to search for a random verse to meditate on when Lois, her bestie, strutted in. Lois took the Bible and rushed through the pages until she landed on Proverbs 4:9.
Lois explained that the “she” referred to godly wisdom. She prayed with Salome for God’s direction in her decision-making and the peace that follows His divine guidance.
Salome sipped her dandelion tea slowly, giving herself a moment to absorb the words.

The truth she heard brought relief. Clarity was coming…
