2nd Letter
Scriptures:
1 Corinthians 7:8-9 (The Message Bible) I do, though, tell the unmarried and widows that singleness might well be the best thing for them, as it has been for me. But if they can’t manage their desires and emotions, they should by all means go ahead and get married. The difficulties of marriage are preferable by far to a sexually tortured life as a single.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (GNT) He has set the right time for everything. He has given us a desire to know the future, but never gives us the satisfaction of fully understanding what he does.
“I surrender, I surrender, I surrender, Lord I surrender..”. Trokon began to sing in his rich and warm baritone voice. She blushed, and they sang the chorus together, bursting into laughter. “So, you really must love the Lord and Elijah Oyelade, ” Trokon whispered. “You were singing passionately, and I couldn’t help but join in. “
Saydah’s eyes lowered, but her presence lingered. Breaking the silence, he introduced himself in a sincere and soft tone. She looked up and smiled. She responded with her name… almost as if it were a secret.
He asked for recommendations of artists, and she shared her Spotify playlist with him. He nodded while scrolling through the titles, and his voice followed with ease, “Thank you, Saydah…looks like I just found my new favorite soundtrack.”
And just like that, Papa Nick’s turned into a sweet, thickened air that neither of them expected…
