Amy had just examined the pressure-cooked pig feet for softness when her bestie texted, “What are you doing?” “I’m about to cook pig feet stew to go with this cassava,” she texted back. Right then, the bestie called directly as she saw the opportunity to gaslight her about what Jesus did to the pigs 🤔.
Before the communication, Amy was listening to Genesis… It might not have been intentional, although she was trying out her new AirPods. She had God’s covenant with Noah playing repeatedly, as it ministered to her.
Amy did not argue with her. She smiled, having just listened to verse 9 and felt no condemnation; therefore, she changed the subject to avoid an argument. She also texted the bestie 1 Timothy 4:4 🙏🏼.
Reflection: Pig feet are juicy!!! 😜
