A few days ago, my GPS took me somewhere I didn’t intend to go. It was a dead end with horses staring at me, wondering why I was there, because my vehicle was blocking the equestrian trail. Meanwhile, Siri kept interrupting my conversation with someone who somewhat knew my location. Immediately, Isaiah 58:11 came to my mind:
“The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.” (NLT)

When I got back on the right route, I started to crack up. The thought of those horses staring at me like they were about to call Animal Control for protection was hilarious. That little inconvenience at the wrong address was short-lived. The temporary bad Wi-Fi buffering was not my end. I got help and bloomed right on schedule.
Unlike a GPS, which is subject to giving wrong information, God’s guidance is steadfast. His sustenance is inexhaustible. The Holy Spirit is available to intervene and assist us in all and every situation. His divine direction neither relies on satellites nor battery life.
So yes, the GPS tricked me that day—but the Holy Spirit intervened. He impressed on my heart to make that call for help.
✨ Food for thought: What part of your life needs God’s GPS—before you end up parked near horses too? 😂 The Holy Spirit is your guide!
