The Syntax Squad

The conference room was immaculate, with floor-to-ceiling windows pouring in sunlight and polished wood gleaming, not a paper in sight. Five friends met to discuss the Sasspoint Chronicle.

Mr. Draft Crew sat in his chair, scrolling through the draft of the article for the hundredth time. “I just need to fix the syntax, ” he said, tapping the screen. “It doesn’t flow yet.”

Mr. Comma Clue smirked, adjusting his blazer.  “You have been fixing this syntax for a month. At this point, you’re avoiding, not editing.”

Ms Prewrite Clause laughed. ” Your commas are saved, but your calling is stuck. You know obedience is in your own syntax, right? Hear. Trust. Act. That’s it.”

Later that evening, Mr. Draft Crew realised that he had been procrastinating, not polishing. Finally, he hit the “Publish” button.  He gave no more excuses.

Takeaway

Stop proofreading the prophecy.

” And the Lord answered me: ‘Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, so he may run who needs it.’” Habakkuk 2:2
