It began with just one voice memo:
“Keturah, I hope you listen to this dream in time. It is about you,” her aunt announced in a tone that projected danger. “Your neon orange suitcase was packed for that retreat, and I was told to tell you to cancel the trip. The sky looked very dark and foggy.”
Keturah had not yet confirmed plans, although she had prayed about attending the retreat in Sasspoint Village. The Legacy of Light retreat was designed to emphasize passing spiritual values to the next generation through practical applications. Keturah was eager to soak up the insights packed into the three-day gathering. And with Sasspoint Village’s lush landscapes calling her name, the trip doubled as a long-awaited chance to explore one of her dream destinations.
She did not respond to her aunt right away. She prayed and meditated on 2 Timothy 1:7. Additionally, she set up a playlist on the television featuring teachings on overcoming fear. For several hours, she listened to God’s Word in surround sound and became revived.
Smiling, she texted Auntie Deborah a heart emoji and declared that she had peace to attend the retreat and the travel ban was lifted.

At last, she packed the suitcase and completed the payment for the trip.
