Have you experienced the frustration that comes with purchasing Philly Cheesesteaks at just about any restaurant in South Philly? The wait is usually very long and exhausting, with the uncertainty that you might never reach the ordering window at all.
That’s how Saydah feels right now, concerning her marital promise from the Lord. She has attended every prayer conference, fasted periodically, and, by mistake, finally intentionally exited all dating apps. Side-eying heaven after “counterfeits” is an understatement,
She wanted to do something different today, so she strolled over to Papa Nick’s for a cheesesteak takeout. (Don’t judge; she is not worrying about her waistline, at least for now.) While waiting for her order, a bolt from the blue moment surfaced when a dapper Trokon tapped her shoulder. She turns around and instead of aggressively saying “What?”, she opens her mouth but says nothing. His touch! Did this brother come from the Song of Solomon?
